Piab Group acquires AVAC Vakuumteknik to further strengthen its position as a world leading automation company

Piab Group has entered into an agreement to acquire AVAC Vakuumteknik AB, a vacuum automation specialist company. AVAC complements Piab with a solid portfolio of products and solutions covering a wide range of applications and a highly experienced and skilled team as well as many new customers to Piab. Through this acquisition Piab is evolving automation by strengthening our position as a world leading automation company in the general industry and a wide array of customer applications.

The acquisition was finalized on August 9th 2022 and is fully funded through internal Piab sources.
